STATUS: THE FOLLOWING CORRECTIONS ARE REQUESTED
PLEASE PROVIDE TWO COPIES OF THE FOLLOWING TO COMPLETE THE PLAN REVIEW PROCESS: A WRITTEN RESPONSE FOR EACH ITEM LISTED BELOW IS REQUIRED THAT SPECIFICALLY IDENTIFIES THE REVISION OR CORRECTION BEING MADE, AND 2 SETS OF BUBBLED OR HIGHLIGHTED REVISED DETAILS AND DRAWINGS ON NEWLY TO BE SUBMITTED PLAN SHEETS. (e-mail submittals will not be accepted)
IF THESE CORRECTION ITEMS ARE ON STAMPED PAGES THEY WILL REQUIRE THE DESIGN PROFESSIONAL OF THAT DISCIPLINE TO PROVIDE AND STAMP THESE NEW PAGES OF CORRECTIONS.
Please provide a letter addressing the fowling corrections:
? 1. Please submit two sets of legible, scaled, and dimensioned plans. Please follow the application check list for the re-submittal. (Submitted plans lack construction detail/mechanical connections and clarity.)
“Plans for deck projects shall be a minimum of 11" x 17", printed, in order, and stapled together. Plans drawn in pencil will NOT be accepted for submittal. Two complete sets of legible building plans are required. These drawings shall be dimensioned and drawn to scale. All drawings shall show conformance to all applicable local and state building codes. (When a Colorado Architect or Engineer stamp is required, it must be an original seal and signature dated and must appear on each sheet of design drawings and all other documents submitted. Only one set is permitted to be a copy.)”
? 2. Current Pole Barn design does not meet Teller County Building Code criteria/2015 IRC or ICC Building Guide. If the barn’s design will not meet ICC/Teller County Code standards, engineering will be required. Please see items below that do not comply:
a. Pole barn construction does not fallow ICC Building Guide, which is accepted by Teller County.
b. Headers and pole connection do not meet minimum requirements of ICC Building Guide, provide engineering.
c. Piers do not met minimum requirements of ICC Building Guide, provide engineering.
NOTE: The remainder of the review will be completed as soon as the items are addressed.
