As we discussed, the previous owner had the gas tanks removed in 2014 and is fully responsible for everything pertaining to those tanks, more than likely until such time as all state requirements are met. I have attached an executed copy of the Environmental and Hazardous Substances Indemnity Agreement between the previous owner and Mr. Kuyper which I hope will be sufficient documentation for Teller County Environmental Health to feel that the gas tank issue is being addressed and is now solely in the hands of the previous owner and the State of Colorado and will recommend releasing the requested building permits to refurbish the structure.
Please let me know if you have any additional comments, questions, or concerns regarding the gas tanks previously located at 11102 W US Hwy 24, Divide, CO 80814.
